Want to hear great choral music in a beautiful setting?

Then come to evensong at one of the college chapels of Cambridge or Oxford!

Everyone is welcome to (almost) every service.
It’s open to all, whatever your faith (or if you have no religion).
It’s calming, spiritual and beautiful.
It’s a perfect time between daytime and evening.
And it only lasts for 30-40 minutes.
So, what’s stopping you?

This website will link you to each of what I consider the principal chapel choirs, when they’re singing, and give you a few tips about the protocols and how the whole thing works, so you can feel really comfortable when you visit.

Who’s talking to you?

I was a choral scholar at one of these world-famous choirs in my youth so I know what I’m talking about.
I loved the experience and I want you to share in it!
Too few people know that they can come to Evensong services in a Cambridge or Oxford college chapel. It’s free, and they will be delighted if you come.

Some former singers are now world-famous artists. And the choirs are the most incredible ambassadors for the academic work – in many fields – that the Cambridge and Oxford colleges do for our society today.
Come and enjoy – it’s free and it’s fantastic.

I publish a fabulous YouTube link to a recording from one of these choirs (for your enjoyment) every fortnight on this website under Choral Soundbytes. You can also follow us Facebook or LinkedIn.
